A Safe Place Product Drive

Alarmingly the number of reported cases of domestic violence continues to increase in our region. In 2016, A Safe Place supported 727 clients from Strathcona County, Fort Saskatchewan and surrounding areas - that number includes 369 children and youth. We know the need is great, but at United Way we believe our community is greater. Together, we can work collaboratively to Create Pathways Out of Poverty in our region.

In the Agora room at the Strathcona County Community Centre from 2:00-3:30pm, Wednesday June 28, 2017 Companies, agencies and municipalities throughout the Heartland region are collecting products most needed at A Safe Place, a shelter for women and children fleeing domestic violence.
